Commodity Material Manager (Ref 26483)
Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end material readiness for assigned ODM partners and serve as the primary point of accountability for supply continuity and production execution.
• Drive ODM accountability for build commitments, escalating unresolved constraints and ensuring timely recovery plans with clear ownership and timelines.
• Conduct regular business reviews with ODM planning and procurement teams to align on build schedules, material availability, and overall supply risk.
• Drive MRP alignment between demand signals and ODM material planning systems to ensure planning accuracy and execution readiness.
• Manage Commit-to-Build (CTB) cycles by tracking material availability against build plans and proactively identifying gating components.
• Manage complex multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs), translating material risks into actionable mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Monitor inventory health, excess and obsolete (E&O) exposure, and material lifecycle transitions across assigned programs.
• Partner with commodity management, NPI, logistics, procurement, engineering, and operations teams to resolve supply constraints and support successful production ramps.
• Maintain accurate material risk reporting and communicate supply health, risks, and mitigation actions to senior leadership.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in materials management, supply chain execution, manufacturing operations, or ODM program management within the technology industry.
• Direct experience working with ODM planning and procurement teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing complex BOM structures, CTB processes, and material readiness activities.
• Strong understanding of MRP systems, demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive accountability, resolve conflicts, and execute under time-sensitive conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting large-scale data center, server, infrastructure, compute, storage, or networking hardware programs.
• Familiarity with rack-level assemblies, system integration, and hardware manufacturing supply chains.
• Experience managing supply chain operations across Taiwan, China, and the broader APAC region.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CSCP, CPIM) or equivalent professional certification.
