Hiring Unit:
Department of Linguistics
Position Summary:
- Collect updated information about PhD alumni so that it can be updated on the Department of Linguistics website;
- Collect information about MA alumni so that it can be posted on the Department of Linguistics website;
- Contact former PhD and MA students (using e-mail, professional networking websites, social medial platforms, or their former McGill supervisors) to solicit or confirm information to post;
- Arrange all material in Word documents for an ASC member to upload onto the Department of Linguistics website.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of main sub-fields of Linguistics.
- Ability to create, edit and format documents using Microsoft Word.
- Experience using professional networking websites and social media platforms.
This position is covered by the AMUSE collective agreement.
