Communications Manager - B2B Tech & Growth PR

About Huzzle

At Huzzle, we connect exceptional talent with top opportunities at leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Our clients include fast-growing startups, digital agencies, SaaS companies, and tech-enabled businesses across industries such as MarTech, FinTech, EdTech, and eCommerce. Unlike traditional outsourcing agencies, we place you directly with innovative companies where you become a valued member of the team.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Fully Remote

About the Company

Our client is a well-established, fast-growing B2B technology company operating a global marketplace that connects vetted, high-quality technology professionals with startups and scale-ups across the US and Europe.

The company has a strong remote-first culture, established processes, and a sophisticated technology stack, while maintaining a lean, entrepreneurial startup environment. The team values autonomy, speed, experimentation, and hands-on execution over corporate bureaucracy.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Communications Manager to own organic communications, media relations, and executive thought leadership across the company's key markets.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who can identify and manufacture compelling stories from within the business, build direct relationships with technology journalists, secure organic media coverage, and turn executive expertise into high-performing thought leadership.

You’ll work directly with the Founder and C-level executives, helping shape their public voice while building the company's visibility across US and European technology media.

This is not a traditional PR agency-management role or a pure copywriting position. You’ll be expected to find opportunities, create stories, pitch them, distribute them, and measure the results yourself.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop newsworthy stories from company operations, customer activity, data, market trends, product developments, and executive expertise.
  • Build and maintain direct relationships with US technology journalists and pitch stories organically to Tier-1 and relevant technology/business media.
  • Generate coverage in publications such as TechCrunch, Forbes, and other influential outlets.
  • Monitor brand mentions, industry conversations, competitors, and emerging media opportunities.
  • Develop narratives that increase the company's visibility and Share of Voice across North America and Europe.
  • Work directly with the Founder and C-level executives to develop their public voice and positioning.
  • Ghostwrite LinkedIn posts, X content, thought-leadership pieces, commentary, and other executive communications.
  • Transform executive expertise, company insights, and market perspectives into compelling narratives.
  • Distribute media stories and company narratives across relevant social channels.
  • Build systems that encourage employees to actively share and amplify company content.
  • Repurpose core ideas into LinkedIn carousels, social posts, threads, newsletters, and other formats.
  • Develop AI-assisted content distribution workflows that increase the speed and scale of execution.
  • Experiment with modern channels such as GTM podcasts, executive personal branding, interactive newsletters, and other high-impact formats.
  • Track media coverage, Share of Voice, executive reach, engagement, and content distribution performance.
  • Use data to continuously improve communications activity and content performance.
  • Operate with minimal supervision and without relying on large PR or advertising budgets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B technology and/or SaaS communications.
  • Demonstrable track record of organic pitching to US technology media, including Tier-1 or highly relevant technology/business publications.
  • Strong understanding of the US technology media landscape and proven ability to build direct journalist relationships.
  • Exceptional executive ghostwriting and narrative development skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2) with excellent written communication.
  • Portfolio required: US technology media clips earned through direct pitching and executive ghostwriting samples, such as LinkedIn/X posts or thought leadership.
  • Highly autonomous, proactive, direct, data-driven, and outcome-oriented.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean, and scrappy startup environment with limited resources.
  • Willingness to experiment with AI-assisted content creation, automation, and modern communications workflows.
  • Nice to have: Experience scaling B2B SaaS/technology startups in the US, existing US tech journalist relationships, or experience with GTM podcasts, executive personal branding, newsletters, employee advocacy, Muck Rack, Prowly, LinkedIn automation, CRM/ATS platforms, or advanced AI content tools.
