Communications Manager
On behalf of our client, Fokus Nordic, Krumhardt Matzen is looking for an experienced Communications Manager to take on a central role in strengthening the company's position, brand and communications across the Nordics and internationally.
Fokus Nordic is a leading Nordic platform for real estate investment and asset management, with approximately EUR 10 billion in assets under management across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
Fokus Nordic gives institutional investors access to attractive real estate investments through open-ended funds, separate mandates, and tailored investment solutions. The company's strength lies in combining deep local market expertise with a unified Nordic approach.
As Fokus Nordic continues its international growth and broadens its base of institutional investors, the company is looking for an experienced communications professional who can strengthen its position in the market, elevate its brand, and support its commercial ambitions in the Nordics and internationally.
The role:
Krumhardt Matzen is looking for a creative and commercially minded Communications Manager to take ownership of driving and executing Fokus Nordic's external communications strategy.
You will report directly to the Group COO and play a central role in developing and delivering communications initiatives that raise Fokus Nordic's visibility among investors, clients, partners and other industry stakeholders.
The role combines strategy with hands-on execution. You will translate business priorities into compelling content, effective campaigns and clear, consistent messaging across markets and channels.
You will work closely with senior management, local management teams and business teams in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Together, you will strengthen Fokus Nordic's reputation, support fundraising and business development, and position the company as a leading Nordic player in real estate investment and asset management.
The role focuses primarily on external communications but also covers selected internal communications tasks.

As Communications Manager, you will take on a role with responsibility, influence and scope for personal and professional development.
Responsibilities:
Brand positioning and strategic communications
- Develop Fokus Nordic's corporate narrative, value proposition and brand positioning.
- Translate business strategy into clear and engaging communication.
- Ensure a consistent brand identity across countries and channels.
- Support the positioning and thought leadership of the management team.
External communications and marketing
- Drive marketing campaigns from concept to evaluation, targeting investors, clients and partners.
- Select and optimize the most effective channels and formats for the Nordic markets.
- Analyze results to continuously increase visibility and engagement.
Media relations and public affairs
- Build relationships with financial, real estate and business media across the Nordics.
- Strengthen visibility through trade media, conferences and market events.
- Produce press releases, articles, interviews and executive communications.
- Advise the executive management team on communications and messaging.
Digital communications
- Manage and develop external digital channels (website, LinkedIn, newsletters).
- Produce high-quality content that supports commercial objectives.
- Monitor digital KPIs and optimize activities on an ongoing basis.
Investor and business development materials
- Develop professional presentation materials, targeted at investors and other groups.
- Support fundraising, investor and client relations, and business development with strong communications materials.
Internal communications
- Support selected internal communications initiatives that strengthen company culture and strategic direction.
- Assist management with key internal announcements and organizational communications as required.
What we are looking for:
We expect you to have approximately 8 years of relevant experience in a communications role, ideally from financial services, real estate, private equity, asset management or another professional services environment.
You combine strong strategic communications skills with confident execution and a clear commercial mindset.
In particular, we are looking for:
- Solid experience in corporate communications, external communications or public relations.
- Experience developing communications strategies and delivering integrated campaigns.
- A thorough understanding of digital communications, social media and content marketing.
- Experience working closely with senior executives and translating complex business topics into clear, engaging content.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle several priorities at once.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across an international organization.
- Fluency in English. Nordic or other European language skills are an advantage.
- The ability to work independently while remaining collaborative.
- Experience in real estate, investment management or financial services is a clear advantage.
