Arc Human Services is hiring a PRN Community Based DSP!

We have three casual positions (PRN) covering the Washington County region. Hours vary, but we generally have hours available Monday-Friday between 8-4pm. There may be a need for evening/weekend depending on client placement. As these positions are within our Employment Program, the hours will depend on the client's schedules.

Summary:

This position reports to the Community Based Services Specialist and is responsible for providing comprehensive support to individuals in both home and community settings, including vocational and employment environments. The role focuses on promoting independence, community integration, and successful participation in competitive and small group employment settings.

The Community-Based Direct Support Professional supports individuals in developing daily living skills, social and communication abilities, and job readiness competencies. This includes assisting with personal care, facilitating community engagement, and providing hands-on job coaching, training, and employment support.

This position collaborates with interdisciplinary team members including family members, behavioral specialists, employers, and outside agencies to ensure individuals achieve their personal, social, and employment goals. Shifts vary based on individual and agency needs.
