We are currently recruiting caring, reliable and committed
individuals to join our growing team as Part-Time Community Care Assistants.
Due to the nature of intimate personal care provided,
this position is open to female applicants only, in accordance with the genuine
occupational requirement provisions of the Equality Act 2010.
About the Role
As a Community Care Assistant, you will provide
high-quality, person-centred care to individuals within their own homes. Every
visit is an opportunity to make a real difference, helping people remain
independent whilst receiving the support they need with dignity and respect.
You will work as part of a supportive, professional team
delivering care tailored to each individual's needs, preferences and lifestyle.
This is a part-time contracted position, offering regular
and reliable hours for successful applicants.
Work is available across:
- Morning
shifts
- Lunchtime
visits
- Teatime
and evening shifts
- Weekend
care
- Emergency
cover calls where required
Weekend Working
Our part-time care roles can include a weekend-on /
weekend-off working pattern, providing regular weekend availability whilst
allowing you to maintain a good work-life balance.
Enhanced pay rates are available for eligible shifts,
including applicable weekend work.
Areas We Cover: Where possible, care rounds are
allocated geographically to minimise travel time and support a positive
work-life balance.

As Bradcare continues to grow, opportunities may become

Key Responsibilities
- Delivering
care in line with individual care plans and Bradcare's quality standards
- Providing
personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Supporting
mobility, transfers and safe movement around the home
- Assisting
with medication administration
- Preparing
meals and supporting nutrition and hydration
- Providing
companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Supporting
individuals living with dementia and other complex care needs
- Carrying
out light housekeeping and domestic duties
- Maintaining
accurate electronic care records in accordance with GDPR requirements,
using PASS and NOURISH systems

Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A
Full UK driving licence (essential) and access to a reliable
vehicle
- Female
applicants only (genuine occupational requirement under the Equality
Act 2010)
- Right
to work in the UK
- Availability
to work a mixture of mornings, lunchtimes, evenings and weekends
- Willingness
to participate in a weekend-on / weekend-off working pattern
- Good
communication and interpersonal skills
- A
compassionate, dependable and professional approach
- A
genuine passion for helping people live independently and with dignity
Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential.
If you are new to care, full training, ongoing support and
mentoring will be provided. We recruit for values, compassion and commitment as
much as experience.
