Crisis Intervention & Community Support

  • Immediate Crisis Response: Deliver strength-based crisis intervention services in homes, schools, and community settings, developing immediate crisis resolution and long-term prevention plans.

  • Outreach & Prevention: Assist clinicians in identifying at-risk youth and engaging families in proactive crisis support and problem-solving.

  • Resource Linking & Advocacy: Connect families with essential community resources, teach life and parenting skills, and advocate for client rights across system levels.

  • Facility Liaison: Serve as the Prairie View Liaison to State Hospitals and Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (PRTFs), attending collaborative treatment planning meetings for shared clients.

Direct Clinical Care & Care Coordination

  • Strength-Based Interventions: Deliver individual, family, and group services aligned with treatment plans set by Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs).

  • Child & Adolescent Focus: Apply strong knowledge of child/adolescent development, safety risk factors, and boundary management to maintain safe, supportive care environments.

  • Inter-Agency Collaboration: Provide case consultations and participate in multi-disciplinary care meetings with internal teams and external agencies.

Patient Transportation: Must maintain a valid Kansas Driver’s License, pass a driver’s license check, and provide proof of current personal automobile insurance to transport clients for services and activities.
