Job Summary

Join Iron Scholars as a Community Engagement Ambassador to represent our enrichment centre at roadshows and outreach events, connecting with families and encouraging trial sign-ups for our programmes.

Responsibilities [Short Hours Per Day!]

  • Conduct weekly roadshows in heartland neighbourhoods and outside preschools in Aljunied, Kallang, Eunos, and Bedok to promote Iron Scholars’ programmes
  • Engage parents warmly to introduce programmes and respond to their questions effectively
  • Interact with children in a friendly and approachable manner to generate interest in learning
  • Distribute flyers and share information to encourage parents to sign up for trial lessons
  • Represent Iron Scholars professionally and enthusiastically at all outreach events
  • Commit to scheduled shifts including weekends (Sat & Sun, 10am–2pm) and three weekday evenings (5pm–7pm) at various preschool locations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Outgoing personality with strong communication skills to engage diverse audiences
  • Comfortable speaking to parents and engaging children in informal educational settings
  • Reliable and punctual with the ability to commit to scheduled hours
  • Passionate about education and community outreach
  • Prior experience in events, sales, or promotions is advantageous but not required
