About the Role:
Code Ninjas of Beacon Hill is looking for an enthusiastic and people-focused Community Engagement Specialist to join our team part-time in Seattle, WA (N. Beacon Hill Neighborhood)! In this role, you'll be the face of our brand — connecting with local families, schools, and community organizations to inspire the next generation of young coders and tech innovators.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with local schools, community groups, and families to drive awareness and enrollment
  • Represent Code Ninjas at community events, fairs, and school outreach programs
  • Plan and coordinate promotional events, open houses, and in-center activities
  • Manage and grow social media presence and community communications
  • Support marketing initiatives including flyers, newsletters, and local advertising
  • Engage with current and prospective families to communicate program offerings and benefits
  • Track outreach efforts and report on engagement metrics and enrollment impact
Requirements:
  • Experience in community outreach, marketing, education, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for working with children and families
  • Comfortable with public speaking and representing a brand at events
  • Social media savvy with experience managing platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or similar
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects independently
  • Enthusiasm for STEM education, youth development, or coding is a strong plus
  • Flexible availability including some evenings and weekends as needed
