Community Events Manager
Help us make I-95 Toyota a destination for the Golden Isles community. We believe a dealership should be more
than a place to buy or service a vehicle. It should be a place where families gather, local businesses connect, and
lasting relationships begin.
We are building a year-round calendar of community events, with activities planned nearly every Saturday. We are
seeking a creative, organized, hands-on Community Events Manager to own the planning, promotion, and execution
of these experiences from start to finish.
What You Will Do
• Own the events calendar: Plan and execute family festivals, holiday celebrations, charitable events, entertainment,
competitions, and community activities throughout the year.
• Lead event operations: Manage timelines, budgets, vendor contracts, supplies, staffing, site layouts, setup,
breakdown, and day-of execution.
• Drive attendance through social media: Create and implement promotional calendars; write posts; produce
engaging photo and short-form video content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and relevant channels.
• Lead grassroots marketing: Promote events through schools, churches, neighborhood groups, local businesses,
nonprofits, community calendars, and other high-impact local channels.
• Build community partnerships: Recruit and coordinate sponsors, vendors, food trucks, entertainers, volunteers, and
local organizations; develop cross-promotions that benefit everyone involved.
• Collaborate with marketing: Coordinate event messaging, creative assets, community outreach, and post-event
content while emphasizing organic reach and authentic engagement.
• Measure results: Track attendance, event spending, community participation, social engagement, partner
involvement, and feedback; use results to improve future events.
Required Experience & Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience planning and executing events, ideally community-facing or family-oriented events.
• Hands-on experience managing business social media, creating content, and using organic promotion to build
engagement.
• Experience with grassroots marketing, local outreach, partnerships, or community-based promotional campaigns.
• Strong organizational, budgeting, vendor-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable capturing photos and videos and using Canva or similar content-creation tools.
• Confident building relationships, working independently, and managing several projects at once.
• Availability to work Saturdays and occasional evenings; this is an active, on-site role that includes physical event
setup and support.
What Success Looks Like
Well-run events that families look forward to attending; growing participation and organic social reach; strong local
partnerships; thoughtful use of event budgets; and a reputation for I-95 Toyota as a welcoming community destination.
Success is measured by relationships and community impact—not by vehicle sales during events.
Why Join I-95 Toyota?
I-95 Toyota of Brunswick is part of The TKO Group, an organization committed to becoming the best place to work
and the best place to do business. Our benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; an 8% 401(k) company
match; paid holidays; a five-day workweek that includes Saturdays; an employee vehicle purchase program; and
opportunities for growth.
This is a chance to build something special. We are looking for an owner, not an observer—someone who can turn
creative ideas into memorable experiences and help establish traditions that matter to the Golden Isles.
