Provide individual and group grief counseling to community members, assess needs, and facilitate support groups in a healthcare nonprofit setting.

Our spectrum of home-based services now includes Skilled Home Health Care, Palliative Care, Adult Hospice Care and Pediatric Care. Our team approach strives to address practical, social, emotional and spiritual aspects of care, with the goal to maximize quality of life for our patients, caregivers and families.
We are seeking a Community Grief Counselor to join our Bereavement Team. This person will provide individual counseling services and facilitate groups for community counseling clients coping with issues of grief and loss.

Larkspur, CA office; 1 day remote option

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Provide grief counseling services to community members including outreach, assessment, treatment planning, intervention, education, and referral.
- Facilitate grief support groups.
- Set appropriate fee for services; collect and process payment for services in compliance with organization policies and procedures.
- Screen potential group members for appropriateness for a support group. Make appropriate referrals for those not ready for a group.
Tech savvy and bi-lingual in Spanish, Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus!
Education/Experience:
- Master’s degree in the area of mental health from an accredited university; clinical licensure with the CA Board of Behavioral Science strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two years clinical experience, preferably in a health care setting providing clinical services in the areas of life‑threatening and chronic illness, grief, and loss, individual, family and group therapy.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Current CA LMFT, LCSW or LPCC License
- Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.
Pay Range:
Orientation/trainings - $30 - $40 hourly
Session Rates:
Individual Visit - $75.40/session
Group Visit: $116.00/hr.
