At the gateway to Harriman State Park awaits the Reeves Meadow Visitor Center, ready to extend a warm welcome to patrons. We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to provide exceptional guest services/merchandising in the picturesque Harriman State Park. What you’ll be doing at AMC

· Welcome and assist patrons with a friendly and approachable attitude.

· Provide accurate and up-to-date trail information, along with recommendations for local tourism and hospitality attractions.

· Demonstrate proficiency in managing Point of Sale (POS) systems, receiving deliveries, and efficiently stocking merchandise to maintain a well-organized and visually appealing retail environment.

· Develop a comprehensive understanding of all retail items.

· Take responsibility for organizing backstock, maintaining cleanliness in buildings, bathrooms, and grounds, contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for park patrons.

· Actively promote and sell AMC memberships, emphasizing the benefits and value of joining the Appalachian Mountain Club.

· During emergencies, promptly refer patrons to the appropriate state agency personnel, ensuring their safety and well-being.

· Demonstrate flexibility by being available to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

· Maintain and promote AMC standards in all forms of hospitality.
