Help Build Stronger Programs Across the Southern Tier


The Food Bank of the Southern Tier is seeking a Community Impact Operations Coordinator to support the successful administration and delivery of Community Impact programs throughout our six-county service area.


This position combines community partnership management with operational coordination, compliance support, partner onboarding, training, and process improvement. The successful candidate will serve as a key resource for program and agency partners while helping to ensure that Community Impact programs operate consistently, efficiently, and effectively.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both relationship-building and operational coordination and wants to help strengthen the systems that support community programs throughout the Southern Tier.

This role requires regular travel throughout Chemung County, occasional travel elsewhere within the Food Bank's six-county service area, and a minimum of two onsite days per week at the Food Bank office in Elmira.

What You'll Do


Partner & Program Support

· Serve as the primary contact for an assigned portfolio of agency and program partners in Chemung County.

· Build strong relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.

· Provide technical assistance, training, and ongoing support to partners.

· Conduct compliance and partner site visits.

· Help partners navigate Food Bank programs, requirements, and available resources.

· Support the implementation and administration of Community Impact programs.


Operations & Compliance

· Coordinate department-wide operational processes that support consistent program administration.

· Manage and track site visit schedules, documentation, and follow-up activities.

· Support corrective action processes and compliance activities.

· Assist with audit preparation, reporting, and documentation.

· Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and partner experience.

· Develop and maintain operational resources, workflows, forms, and standard operating procedures.


Training & Partner Onboarding

· Coordinate onboarding for new agency and program partners.

· Develop and facilitate partner trainings and orientation sessions.

· Manage partner office hours and operational support activities.

· Maintain training materials, schedules, and partner resources.


Community Collaboration

· Facilitate coalition meetings and collaborative partner discussions.

· Represent the Food Bank at community meetings, events, and partner activities.

· Promote community engagement and strengthen local partnerships.

· Support cross-departmental initiatives and organizational priorities.

Compensation & Work Environment

· Competitive pay: $27.00-$29.12 per hour (approximately $49,500–$53,000 annually based on a 35-hour workweek), based on experience and qualifications.

· Hybrid work environment with a minimum of two onsite days per week

· Full-time schedule of 35 hours per week

· Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

· Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
