• Personal Impact – developing physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual strength.
• Professional Impact – building real-world skills through industry-integrated, practice-based learning.
• Public Impact – fostering interdisciplinary thinking and a commitment to nation-building.
At Rishihood, we nurture leaders who will transform themselves, their professions, and the nation.
POSITION | Community Manager - Alumni Relations
Rishihood's earliest cohorts are now stepping into careers, founding ventures, and entering the world as ambassadors of what the university stands for. The Community Manager will build and sustain the relationships, rituals, and platforms that keep alumni genuinely connected to Rishihood and to each other as a living community that continues to reflect the institution's values long after graduation.
- Own the alumni relationship end-to-end; be the familiar, trusted point of contact alumni reach out to and hear from regularly.
- Design and run a calendar of alumni engagement: reunions, city-chapter meetups, mentorship circles, and milestone celebrations (first jobs, ventures launched, life events).
- Build and maintain the alumni community across the right platforms (WhatsApp groups, LinkedIn, a dedicated portal, or similar), keeping engagement active rather than dormant between events.
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date alumni database with contact details, career trajectories, achievements, and keep it usable for outreach, giving, and storytelling.
- Identify and nurture alumni who can contribute back as mentors, guest speakers, recruiters through CAC, donors, or ambassadors in their own cities and industries.
- Create content and stories that keep alumni achievements visible to current students and to each other, reinforcing that the Rishihood identity doesn't end at graduation.
- Work with CAC/Placements to connect alumni networks into the placement and mentorship pipeline for current students.
- Track and report on engagement health. For example, event turnout, community activity, response rates.
Requirements
- 2–5 years in alumni relations, community management, membership engagement, or a similar relationship-building role.
- Genuinely energized by people, with comfort initiating conversations, following up consistently, and remembering the personal details that make someone feel known.
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to represent Rishihood's tone and values in every touchpoint, from a WhatsApp message to a reunion speech.
- Organized enough to run a database and an events calendar without either slipping. This role requires warmth with operational discipline.
- Comfortable with basic reporting (attendance, engagement trends) to show the health of the community over time.
- Alignment with Rishihood's values and culture is more important here than a polished corporate community-management resume — this person represents the institution to people who already trust it.
