Roles
and Responsibilities:
Clubs
and Clans (Tech Focus)
●
Design and implement SOPs for smooth functioning of tech clubs and clan
systems.
●
Facilitate leadership training and mentorship for club and clan heads, with an
emphasis on technical project execution.
●
Ensure regular activities and cross-club collaborations, including hackathons,
code sprints, and tech showcases.
●
Track participation metrics, impact, and innovation within student-led tech
initiatives, helping turn ideas into working prototypes or products.
Mega
Events Management
●
Anchor all large-scale university events (e.g. Tech Fests, Inter college
Hackathons, Inter Club Events) with tech-integrated experiences.
●
Liaise with internal teams, vendors, and external partners for seamless
execution.
●
Build student volunteer teams and ensure leadership development through event
planning, especially tech event committees.
Annual
Learner Experience Calendar
●
Draft and maintain an annual calendar including academic/non-academic
festivals, tech fests, impact-driven programs, and wellness activities.
●
Collaborate with academic and non-academic departments to align activities
across the university calendar, including coding workshops and tech talks.
Creative
Communication & Visibility
●
Curate and co-create student magazines, newsletters, and editorials featuring
tech projects and learner innovations.
●
Collaborate with the marketing/content creation/communications team for social
media takeovers, student stories, and campaign ideation around tech
achievements.
●
Help position Rishihood’s unique community culture across digital platforms,
highlighting its tech community and maker culture.
Learner-Centric
Innovation
●
Constantly ideate and experiment with new engagement formats (e.g., night
talks, learning walks, unplugged sessions) with a tech twist—such as demo
nights, hardware tinkering sessions, or AI meetups.
●
Stay updated on trends in student engagement and implement best practices
relevant to Gen Z learners, especially in emerging tech domains.
Stakeholder
Collaboration
●
Foster positive relationships with faculty, operations, finance, marketing,
admissions, and hostel teams.
●
Act as a bridge between students and staff for community initiatives,
especially translating student tech ideas into actionable projects with faculty
support.
●
Support leadership with reports, impact metrics, and strategic insights on tech
engagement and prototype development.
Marketing
& Admissions Collaboration
●
Play an active role in onboarding learners through immersive, engaging
experiences including tech orientation and introductory coding/maker sessions
(but not limited to)
●
Coordinate welcome activities, pre-admission engagement, and community bonding
to improve retention, using tech-based icebreakers and collaborative projects.
●
Work closely with admissions to nurture learner touchpoints and feedback loops
around tech interest areas and skill levels.
Education
& Experience Required:
●
3–5 years of relevant experience in student affairs, community engagement,
event management, youth-led programs, or educational institutions with a
demonstrated background in technology (e.g., technical degree, prior role in
tech community building, or experience managing tech clubs/hackathons).
●
Experience managing large events and working with young adults (preferably Gen
Z), including tech events like hackathons or code fests.
●
Proven ability to work across teams and engage stakeholders effectively, and to
guide learners from a tech idea to a working reality through community-driven
activities.
