Community Manager (Tax Credit Exp Required) - Flats on 4th - St. Petersburg, FL

We’re looking for a Community Manager (Tax Credit Experience) (Lease-Up Experience) who’s excited to make a difference and help shape the residents’ experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Community Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the success of the community. You'll oversee daily operations, lead and develop your team, foster strong resident relationships, and ensure the property operates efficiently while delivering exceptional service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the day-to-day operations of the community with professionalism and positivity
- Leads and manages operations in compliance with Affordable Housing Regulations and meeting requirements to include preparing documentation and reporting.
- Maintains and processes Move In and Recertification files as required to maintain program compliance with program funding.
- Recruiting, coaching, and developing a high-performing onsite team
- Managing budgets, rent collections, financial reporting, and expense control
- Overseeing leasing efforts, occupancy goals, renewals, and compliance requirements
- Coordinating maintenance operations to ensure quality service and excellent curb appeal
- Resolving resident concerns with empathy, professionalism, and timely follow-up
- Building positive relationships with residents, vendors, and business partners
- Partnering with the Asset Director by providing operational updates and supporting owner/client communications
- Promoting safety, regulatory compliance, and a positive community culture
- Performing other duties as assigned
Who You Are
We're looking for a motivated leader who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and inspiring others. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in creating communities where residents and team members succeed.
Qualifications include:
- Two (2) or more years of multifamily property management experience, including leadership responsibilities
- 2 years of Tax Credit experience wanted
- Strong financial management, budgeting, and administrative skills
- Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
