Community Project Manager
Summary
Manages community partnership projects for a hunger-relief nonprofit, coordinating data collection, compliance, and strategic initiatives to support food distribution partners in Philadelphia.
Position Summary:
The Services Project Manager will manage a portfolio of projects and spearhead initiatives that support Philabundance’s Community Partner network in working towards the organization’s mission of relieving hunger. This position will be responsible for creating, managing and streamlining operational processes and community partnership data collection. The Services Project Manager will work closely with the Community Programs and Community Partnership teams. This role does not have reports and will work with and through other individuals who are key to the projects.
Key components of this role are project management, organizational skills and the ability to digest information from agreements, programs or standard operating procedures and align with expectations, metrics and goals.
The role requires the ability to work with partner network data, including collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting information to identify trends, assess needs, monitor progress, and support data-informed decisions. The Services Project Manager will use data to strengthen partner engagement, improve project planning, support compliance efforts, and help ensure resources and services are aligned with the needs of the partner network.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of projects including but not limited to strategic community partnerships portfolio, community partner council and lead community partner data tool.

Onboarding, gathering, and analyzing partner impact data, compliance and strategic community distributions.

Prepare and recommend strategic plans for streamlining existing projects and executing new initiatives that support the Community Partnerships network.

Creates accountability and compliance with agencies.

Assist in the definition of project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, mission alignment and executional feasibility and manage changes in real-time.

Collaborate with relevant internal teams, including Distributions, Food Sourcing, Events, Food Access and Government Affairs on executing projects and building cross-departmental relationships.

Ensure consistent and outstanding engagement with the community partner network, new community partners or external stakeholders when relevant for assigned projects.

Be able to lead meetings and/or training for larger groups, individuals, which may include a mix of participants who are culturally, ethnically, socioeconomically diverse and multi-lingual.

Additional Job Duties

Support the planning and execution of ongoing Community Partnership engagement, including trainings, council participation and events.

Maintain positive working relationships with community at large as a representative of Philabundance.
