Community Service Manager
Position Title: Community Service Manager
Reports To: Vice
Principal Administration

Job Summary:
Discovery House is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Community Service Manager to
oversee our community programs and activities. The successful candidate will foster strong, positive
relationships and engagement with current and past families of the school. This
role will also encompass responsibilities related to school events, student
records, home-school communication, parent welfare, and parent forums. This is
not an entry-level role for fresh graduates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program
Development and Management:
- Design,
implement, and evaluate community service programs that align with the
organization’s mission and goals.
- Identify
community needs and develop strategies to address them through targeted
programs and services.
- Monitor
and report on program outcomes and effectiveness.
- Community
Engagement:
- Build
and maintain relationships with community partners, organizations, and
stakeholders.
- Represent
the organization at community events, meetings, and forums to promote
programs and services.
- Resource
Management:
- Develop
and manage program and events budgets,
including securing funding and resources.
- Ensure
effective use of resources to maximize program and event impact.
- Reporting
and Evaluation:
- Maintain
accurate records of program activities, participants, and outcomes.
- Prepare
reports for the Executive Director, and leadership team .
- Use
data and feedback to continuously improve programs and services.
5. School
Events:
· In collaboration with the learning team and
leadership team, plan all school events.
· Communicate with all stakeholders to ensure high
attendance and high quality.
· Set up platforms to sign-up for events.
· Own guest experience at all events.
· Conduct post-event analysis and generate
reports.
6. Student
Records:
- Ensure all
student non-learning information is up to date on the school’s platform.
- Responsible
for the continuous accuracy of non-learning records on the school’s platform
7. Home-School
Communication Management:
- Manage all
school publications, including content coordination and production
supervision.
- Prepare
newsletters and emails to keep the community informed.
8. Parent
Welfare:
- Monitor
parent satisfaction and address concerns proactively.
- Implement
preventive maintenance measures and develop systemic plans in response to
issues.
- Monitor
and update the Parents portal on the organization's website.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Mass Communication, Public
Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in
community service management or a similar role.
- Excellent
organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to
work collaboratively with diverse groups and build strong relationships.
- Proficiency
in using Microsoft Office and database management systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to
participate in community events and activities, which may include evenings
and weekends.
