Community Services Coordinator
Summary
Coordinates daily operations and customer service for a senior living community, handling front desk duties, resident requests, and cross-department collaboration using office software.
Full-time / Non-exempt / Pay based on experience
Reporting to the Director of Independent Living, the Community Services Coordinator serves as the primary information and support resource for residents, visitors, and team members across Menno Haven's Independent Living communities.
What you'll do:
- Deliver exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for the Independent Living community, creating a welcoming and engaging experience for residents, visitors, families, vendors, and team members.
- Coordinate front desk operations and administrative activities that support the daily functions of the community, including managing communications, maintaining records, coordinating resident requests, and supporting general office operations
- Partner with departments across Menno Haven to ensure effective communication, coordination, and a welcoming experience for residents, visitors, families, and team members.
- Foster meaningful connections with prospective residents and families by sharing community information and partnering with the Sales team to deliver an exceptional first impression.
- Participate in special projects, community events, and continuous improvement efforts that contribute to a welcoming, resident-centered environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant administrative experience, preferred.
- 2+ years of recent experience in an administrative, receptionist, or office support role, required.
- Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or customer-facing environments, preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and other electronic record systems, required.
- Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, required.
- Willingness to work across multiple Independent Living communities to provide operational coverage, required.
- Ability to handle confidential information and exercise sound judgment, required.
- Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, Adobe, Docusign and office equipment, required.
- Ability to learn new systems, processes, and workflows, required.
- Collaborative team player with a positive and professional demeanor, required.

Shift:
- Monday - Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm
- Full-time, Non-exempt
- Occasional evenings and weekends as needed
