As our first Community & Social Media Lead, you’ll own the full player-facing ecosystem: community strategy, social channels, and a growing customer-support squad that touches every single player interaction. You’ll have both the creative freedom and the leadership authority to shape how the world talks about (and to) Monopoly World.

What you’ll do

  • Set the vision – Craft and execute a global community & social media strategy that fuels growth, engagement, and retention.

  • Be the voice & the megaphone – Represent player sentiment in product discussions while amplifying our own brand voice across X, Facebook, Instagram, Discord, TikTok, and beyond.

  • Spark conversations – Plan, create, and schedule thumb-stopping content (posts, videos, memes, AMAs, livestreams) that entertain, inform, and unite our players.

  • Turn insights into action – Monitor community health, surface data-driven reports, and partner with design & product to turn feedback into features.

  • Champion best practices – Define processes, select tooling, and establish performance KPIs for community management, social media, and player support.

  • Launch with impact – Orchestrate global campaign beats, in-game events, and cross-platform announcements tied to major updates and the worldwide release.

  • Proven success building and scaling communities for a high-growth F2P mobile game or entertainment brand.

  • Hands-on mastery of major social platforms and Discord - including analytics, paid boosts, and emerging trends.

  • Prior experience leading people: coaching, goal-setting, and performance feedback for community or support teams.

  • Persuasive storytelling skills - written and visual.

  • A data-friendly mindset: you’re as comfortable digging into dashboards as you are crafting a killer tweet.

  • At least 2 years of experience as Community/Social Media Manager.

Bonus points for

  • Graphic-design chops (Figma, PS, Canva) or video-editing skills.

  • Experience with CRM or CX platforms (Zendesk, Helpshift, Intercom).

  • Multilingual communication abilities.
