Wellness Coach
Washington County Mental Health Services is seeking a Community Support Specialist to provide direct wellness, skill building and peer support to children in home, community and school settings. This role assists children in recognizing their strengths and empowers them to self-advocate and problem solve.
Through personalized, hands-on support, this position helps children develop confidence and skills while cultivating positive relationships with them and their families. The Community Support Specialist helps children strengthen their sense of belonging; encouraging their engagement in school and participation in community activities.
Summary of Duties
- Provide individualized wellness coaching
- Tasks as assigned by case manager
- Teach and practice coping and emotional regulation skills
- Support social skills, communication and problem-solving
- Encourage healthy routines and positive wellness habits
- Participate in treatment/service planning and team meetings
- Document services and youth progress

The starting pay range for this position is $21.03 - $21.89 per hour.
