Community / Talent Sourcing

Open 57d

Location: Vancouver,British Columbia,Canada

The Frontier Foundry team and our portfolio companies are growing. We're going to be heavily involved in community outreach and talent sourcing -- finding great people locally in Vancouver and around the world.

We're looking for someone to be the first hire for Frontier Foundry. You'll be involved in marketing and community events broadly, but the primary focus is going to be on helping source people.

We're going to do things a little differently. Part of the job will include wrangling job descriptions, doing email & phone screens, and booking in person interviews, but we think talent sourcing can be done in interesting community focused ways.

This means special projects that will lean heavily into digital marketing, community events, and helping to showcase the Vancouver ecosystem broadly as a great place to work.

We're initially looking to hire for a relatively junior role, although we could be convinced differently for the right person.

About You

Your background could be a mix of creative, marketing, operations, or recruiting.

If you have a recruiting background, you've always wanted to do more than just post LinkedIn job ads.

You are comfortable using digital tools and web applications of all kinds. You're not afraid to get started with a new tool and just figure it out.

You're creative and can help come up with different ideas on how to accomplish goals, as well as figuring out how to test the success of different ideas

About Frontier Foundry

Frontier is a brand new venture creation studio -- we build companies. This means we're always looking for great people to join our team in owner or early employee roles, with skills across development, design, and marketing.

We have several new companies starting up, as well as roles with portfolio and partner companies that we're helping to hire for.
