Company Driver - Class 2

Hardware Complete is looking for a mature, reliable, and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, staff, and company assets within Harare and across Zimbabwe. This position requires a highly disciplined individual who is comfortable with extensive travel and maintaining excellent standards of vehicle care, road safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport goods and materials safely and efficiently to customers, branches, suppliers, and project sites.
  
• Conduct deliveries within Harare and countrywide as required.
  
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of stock and documentation.
  
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
  
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure company vehicles are always roadworthy.
  
• Adhere to company transport policies and all Zimbabwe road traffic regulations.
  
• Verify delivery notes, invoices, and other transport documentation before dispatch and upon delivery.
  
• Assist with loading and offloading of goods when required.
  
• Ensure the safety and security of goods while in transit.
  
• Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  
• Maintain accurate travel logs, fuel records, and vehicle maintenance records.
  
• Support other operational duties as assigned by management.
  

• Valid Class 2 Driver's Licence
  
• Minimum 5 years' driving experience
  
• Must be willing and available to travel extensively throughout Zimbabwe
  
• Preferably 35 years of age or older
  
• Must possess an active Stanbic Bank account. Candidates with existing ZWG accounts are welcome to apply. The company may assist successful candidates with the process of opening a USD account where required.
  
• Basic command of the English language
  
• Basic computer literacy
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Punctual, reliable, and professional
  
• References from previous employers are mandatory
  
• Must be available to commence work on 1 October 2026
  
• Must be available full time
  

• Basic Salary: US$250 per month
  
• Transport Allowance: US$40 per month
