About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Company Nurse to join our team at our San Fernando, Pampanga facility. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our workforce. The Company Nurse will be responsible for providing on-site medical services, health promotion, and occupational health support to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. This role is integral to our commitment to employee care and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities
Provide on-site medical care and first aid services to employees at the San Fernando facility
Conduct health assessments, health screenings, and occupational health examinations as required
Maintain accurate and confidential health records and medical documentation for all employees
Develop and implement health promotion programmes and wellness initiatives to support employee wellbeing
Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed, and maintain immunisation records
Identify and report workplace health hazards and recommend preventative measures to management
Provide health education and counselling to employees on matters related to occupational health and personal wellness
Coordinate with external medical facilities and healthcare providers for employee referrals and follow-up care
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and DHL policies
Maintain the company clinic, medical equipment, and pharmaceutical supplies in good working order
Prepare regular health and safety reports for management review
Support incident investigations and provide medical documentation when required
What we're looking for
Current and valid Nursing License from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing qualification
Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational health nursing or company health services
Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
Proficiency in first aid, CPR, and emergency medical response
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgements
Knowledge of health information management systems and medical documentation software
Physical ability to perform duties in a logistics and warehouse environment
Compassion, patience, and a commitment to employee wellbeing
Preferred experience: previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environments
