What you will do:The Retail Store Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment. This role plays a key part in creating a positive shopping experience and achieving store sales goals.
The ideal candidate will have:▪ Assist and ring up consumers, handling transactions that are both card and cash▪ Maintain accurate inventory▪ Ensure profitability of sales▪ Stay up to date on product knowledge▪ Work with E&O manager/brand managers to help move E&O inventory▪ Make bank deposits and obtain change as needed▪ Count the register down at the end of the night▪ Use a forklift and/or pallet jack to move product into the store▪ Keep the store neat, orderly, and safe▪ Be available for a flexible schedule due to business needsAdditional qualifications that will help you be successful in this role:▪ Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time▪ Ability to use a pallet jack▪ Be forklift certified, or willing to become certified▪ Possess basic computer skills (email, internet, Microsoft Excel)▪ Have basic math skills, with or without the aid of a register and/or calculator▪ Ability to use a credit card terminal
Working Conditions:▪ Ability to work alone and without supervision▪ The working environment may be noisy, dusty, hot, or cold, and requires awareness of surroundings, as some time is spent in the warehouse▪ The position requires reliable transportation, as trips to the bank before or after a shift are required▪ Ability to lift up to and including 50 lbs▪ Physical movements, such as standing, walking, lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, and overhead movements, are required.
