Compensation Analyst

What you will do
Responsible for supporting the design, administration, and analysis of compensation programs that ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives. This role conducts job evaluations, salary benchmarking, and compensation analyses while partnering closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, Benefits, Finance, and business leaders to provide data-driven compensation guidance. The position manages compensation-related projects, supports annual salary and incentive programs, maintains HR technology and reporting solutions, and delivers workforce analytics that inform strategic business decisions. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, project management capabilities, and the ability to translate complex compensation data into actionable insights.
  • Conduct comprehensive job evaluations, establish job classifications, and determine appropriate salary grades by analyzing salary surveys and internal compensation data providing insights that drive internal equity and external competitiveness in decision-making.
  • Support the development, implementation and manage compensation structures and policies, ensuring alignment with industry benchmarks and organization goals.
  • Participate in industry salary surveys and conduct benchmark studies to keep compensation packages competitive.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Finance, Human Resources Business Partners, and leaders to align compensation programs with business strategy providing guidance on compensation-related issues during recruitment, performance reviews and as business needs arise.
  • Monitor and manage budgets for compensation and identify strategies to provide competitive total rewards packages while managing expenses.
  • Compile and analyze business reports and translate data into relevant reports to be used for management to support decision-making and strategic planning related.
  • Plan, design, schedule and coordinate data analysis and ensure data integrity across HRIS systems.
  • Carry out small to mid-scale projects and initiatives from the planning state through implementation. Examples include – execution of annual salary budget and merit cycle in performance management tool, Worker’s Compensation audit, calculation of annual 401(k) profit-sharing employer contributions and compilation and audit of incentive plan and payouts.
  • Support maintenance technology-based solutions, as well as designing end user interfaces and reporting.

What you need

  • 1 - 3+ years of Compensation or related HR experience involving job evaluation and salary structures
  • 1 or more years of experience participating in salary surveys, compensation tool administration, and/or market tool administration preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a Compensation Role.

Salary range:

$74,000 - $103,000

  • This position also comes with eligibility for Variable Compensation Bonus plan

The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range will take into consideration the individual’s work experience, geographic location, education, certification(s) or additional qualifications, and scope and responsibilities within the role.
