The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Analyst to play a critical role in ensuring APM's compliance obligations are met across our technology, information security, and risk management environments.

Reporting into the Risk & Compliance function, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting APM's compliance frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001 certification and Right Fit For Risk (RFFR) accreditation, while ensuring systems, processes, and change initiatives align with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

This role acts as a key bridge between compliance, business, and technology teams, helping embed compliance requirements into day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain APM's compliance programs, including ISO/IEC 27001 and RFFR accreditation requirements.
  • Conduct compliance assessments and reviews of systems, processes, and controls.
  • Monitor compliance activities and identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Partner with technology, security, and business teams to embed compliance requirements into projects and operational processes.
  • Support internal and external audits, certification activities, and security assessments.
  • Review and interpret security, compliance, and contractual obligations to ensure organisational alignment.
  • Prepare compliance documentation, reports, and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Monitor emerging risks, technologies, and regulatory developments, including AI-related considerations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen governance, risk, and compliance outcomes.

About You

You are a proactive and solutions-focused compliance professional who can confidently engage with stakeholders and translate complex compliance requirements into practical business outcomes.

Qualifications (Desirable)

  • Tertiary qualification in Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
  • CRISC or CISA certification.
  • ISO 31000 Risk Management certification.
  • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification.

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years' experience in IT compliance, information security, risk management, or a related field.
  • Experience within regulated environments such as banking, healthcare, or government is highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of compliance standards and frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001, ISM, PSPF, or similar.
  • Experience supporting security assessments, audits, and certification processes.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse legal and contractual documentation.
  • Strong capability in assessing technical controls and security requirements.
  • Exposure to AI and emerging technologies is highly regarded.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
