D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Compliance Analyst II. The right candidate will serve as a well-versed mortgage compliance resource, assistance with various projects and a training presence. This individual will be a resource to all employees regarding interpretation and implementation of DHI Mortgage Policies/Procedures. Responsible for verifying compliance has been achieved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Provides guidance, enterprise wide, regarding compliance matters
• Assist in the creation and facilitation of ongoing compliance related training material
• Performs assigned routine compliance testing tasks
• Collaborate with teammates and assist employees with compliance related projects, analyses and deliverables. Focus points include, but are not limited to, Third Party Oversight / Compliance911 / Contractual Agreement Review
• Verify internal policies and procedures comply with federal and state level laws and regulations. Although not all inclusive, examples of such laws and regulations include Truth in Lending (TILA), TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule (TRID), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA), Fair Housing Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures (RESPA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Gramm Leach Bliley Act (Privacy Act), Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act (HOEPA), additional state and federal regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of new and changing compliance regulations and the impact on processes and line of business
• Participate in the evaluation of organizational compliance performance
• Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
• Ability to work overtime
