Compliance Consultant (AML)
An external consultant is sought to support a Compliance function focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) in Paris. The consultant will work onsite full-time and contribute to regulatory, operational, and AML-related activities. Applicants must exhibit the capability to operate independently, handle daily compliance tasks, and enhance the governance and control environment. Experience in Compliance and AML is preferred, although a broad range of profiles with financial services or regulatory experience will also be considered.
Main Responsibilities
AML Support — Assist with AML monitoring, reviews, documentation, and reporting.
Compliance Operations — Support daily compliance activities, including regulatory checks, internal controls, and documentation.
Regulatory Adherence — Ensure alignment with local regulatory requirements and the global compliance framework.
Risk & Control Activities — Contribute to risk assessments, control testing, and remediation follow-up.
Stakeholder Collaboration — Work closely with local compliance, operations, and global teams to ensure governance consistency.
Reporting & Documentation — Prepare compliance documentation and internal reports, and support audit-related tasks.
Key Requirements
Experience in Compliance, AML, Financial Crime, or regulatory roles in financial services.
Strong understanding of KYC, CDD, transaction monitoring, or similar AML processes.
Ability to work independently with a keen attention to detail in a regulated environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functional teams.
Professional proficiency in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
Experience from banks, trading platforms, fintech, or regulated financial institutions.
Familiarity with European regulatory frameworks (e.g., AMLD, MiFID, local French requirements).
Experience in operational compliance or AML analyst roles.
