About the Role:

TMG is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Coordinator to join our team during a period of continued growth. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting compliance and regulatory initiatives within a mission-driven, multi-state non-emergency medical transportation organization.

As a Compliance Coordinator, you will play an important role in helping ensure the organization meets applicable regulatory, contractual, and internal compliance requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to track documentation, monitor compliance activities, support audits, and help maintain consistent processes across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support compliance with applicable state, federal, payer, and contractual requirements across all operational markets.
  • Track and maintain credentialing and compliance logs, including licenses, certifications, permits, registrations, expirations, verifications, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct internal compliance checks, record reviews, and documentation audits to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, payer standards, and contract obligations.
  • Validate compliance with contractual and payer requirements by reviewing documentation, operational practices, and record controls.
  • Prepare compliance reports, nonconformance summaries, audit findings, and corrective action documentation; track follow-up and closure of identified issues.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Dispatch, Training, Safety, Fleet, and HR teams to address compliance gaps and support timely corrective actions.
  • Oversee and monitor fleet compliance requirements, including leading vehicle conversion, annual vehicle inspections, and ongoing vehicle safety documentation.
  • Monitor driver vehicle inspection requirements and ensure deficiencies are identified, documented, and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Track vehicle safety recalls and coordinate follow-up to ensure required actions and repairs are completed and properly documented.
  • Review and maintain vehicle repair and maintenance documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and company requirements.
  • Assist with preparation for and participation in Nevada Transportation Authority (NTA) audits and inspections, including compiling fleet records, responding to documentation requests, and supporting corrective actions.
  • Track compliance performance indicators, trends, and recurring issues; escalate potential risks or deficiencies to leadership as appropriate.
  • Support preparation for internal reviews, external audits, payer reviews, and regulatory inspections by compiling documentation and responding to requests.
  • Assist with updates to policies, procedures, and compliance materials to reflect regulatory or contractual changes.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and leaders regarding compliance documentation, requirements, and processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity when handling sensitive or protected information.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support compliance, risk management, and regulatory readiness initiatives.

  • Move within office environments and occasionally travel to operational sites as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive or protected information with discretion.
  • Work in an environment involving frequent interruptions, changing priorities, and evolving regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Compliance, Business, Healthcare Administration, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in compliance coordination, regulatory support, auditing, credentialing, or a related administrative or compliance-focused role.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulatory requirements, payer standards, or contractual compliance obligations, and fleet/vehicle safety and regulatory requirements; experience in healthcare, transportation, or other regulated industries preferred.
  • Experience maintaining compliance logs, credentialing records, expiration tracking, and audit documentation.
  • Ability to conduct record reviews, documentation audits, and basic compliance checks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple compliance tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in standard business software and document management systems (spreadsheets, shared drives, compliance tracking tools, email).
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive or protected information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Operations, Training, Safety, Fleet, and leadership teams to support compliance objectives.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening, in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

Work Location: In-person and on-site.

Reporting: Reports directly to the Director of Risk Management.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt (Salaried)

Compensation:

  • Range: $50,000-$55,000
  • Salary will be based on the candidate's education, experience, and skills.
