Induction Coordinator

Purpose
The Induction Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that all employees, contractors, and visitors are properly introduced, documented, and approved before accessing the construction site. By managing inductions and access control, this role helps maintain a safe and compliant work environment from the very first day on site.

Tasks and Actions in the Project

  • Conduct Inductions: Carry out or assist with site inductions, including presenting safety material and project requirements.

  • Documentation Control: Verify ID, permits, and documentation to ensure all access requirements are met.

  • Access Management: Issue access cards, maintain induction lists and calendars, and update the access system with new personnel.

  • Administrative Support: Provide support to the compliance team and work closely with HSE and the safety department.

  • First Point of Contact: Serve as the first contact for contractors and visitors upon arrival to the site.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in administration, customer service, or access control is an advantage, but not required. Experience from construction is beneficial.

  • Skills:

    • Strong administrative and organizational abilities.

    • Attention to detail and reliability.

    • Clear and professional communication skills across different stakeholder groups.

    • Ability to remain structured and approachable in a fast-paced environment.

  • Education: Secondary education (e.g. high school) or equivalent.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Valid driver’s license.

    • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
