Compliance Manager
Client: SaaS & B2B software owner
Location: Hybrid - Cyprus
Reporting to Chief Legal Officer
The Purpose
Own client and partner onboarding: manage KYB and due diligence onboarding processes with EMIs, payment partners and service providers.
Establish, streamline, and maintain frictionless document collection workflows and onboarding pipeline tracking.
Perform risk assessments for new and existing business relationships, including EDD when necessary.
Screen entities and individuals for sanctions, PEPs, adverse media, and other risk indicators as part of pre-employment checks and KYB due diligence checks inter alia.
Write and update AML, KYB and other policies and procedures on ad hoc basis.
What Makes You a Fit
4+ years hands-on experience in a dedicated AML, KYB, or Due Diligence Manager role covering game suppliers, merchant onboarding or payments , with relevant certifications.
Understanding of the licensing landscape in the igaming industry from the compliance perspective.
A recognized industry certification.
Deep working knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks and GDPR/data privacy standards.
Knowledge of the payment ecosystem, merchant onboarding, game suppliers and software B2B suppliers.
Excellent writing skills in English.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Curiosity; great research skills.
Great project management skills.
Nice to have
Prior experience managing, mentoring, or supervising a compliance team is a strong plus, as the role can be scaled to a People Lead position for the right candidate.
Direct experience building KYB and KYC company profiles in legal software such as Zygos or Ebos.
Legal training or a legal background.
Knowledge of the EU and offshore environment as far as the company law as concerned.
