COMPLIANCE MANAGER


What will you be doing?


  • Support the day-to-day execution, maintenance, and operational monitoring of the bank's compliance management framework.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating internal policies, procedures, and controls to align with ongoing regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct routine compliance reviews, control testing, and internal assessments across business lines.
  • Monitor operational activities to identify compliance risks and escalate key findings to senior management.
  • Track legislative and regulatory developments, drafting initial impact summaries and practical compliance recommendations.
  • Assist internal stakeholders in understanding and adhering to applicable statutory and regulatory obligations.
  • Prepare documentation and reporting materials for regulatory communications, supervisory inquiries, and external audits.
  • Deliver compliance training initiatives, address routine inquiries, and promote regulatory awareness across operational teams.
  • Coordinate with risk management, legal, and operational units on day-to-day regulatory matters and remediation plans.
  • Support incident management workflows and assist in executing corrective actions for identified compliance deficiencies.
  • Maintain an up-to-date repository of applicable local and EU banking guidelines and standards.


What will help you succeed?


  • Demonstrated professional experience in regulatory compliance within banking, credit, factoring, or financial services (typically 3–5 years).
  • University degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Practical background in conducting compliance testing, risk reviews, and control assessments within regulated financial entities.
  • Solid working knowledge of EU and local banking regulations, AML/CTF standards, and supervisory expectations.
  • Proven capability to review audit observations and support the execution of effective corrective actions.
  • Sound analytical capabilities combined with structured, pragmatic problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, autonomy in daily deliverables, and strong operational discipline.
  • High precision, methodological accuracy, and attention to detail in technical documentation.
  • Professional written and verbal communication abilities in English and Lithuanian.
