Location - remote with travel to Reading Area office once a month
You will join a growing SaaS vendor with significant investment and longevity of success. This is a hands-on delivery role in which you will manage data protection, information security, and compliance. You will focus on maintenance and delivery of day-day compliance activities (GDPR, DPO, etc.). This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a collaborative business where you'll embed compliance; giving you opportunity to influence growth.
Compliance Manager - Responsibilities
- Lead GDPR and data protection operations, processes and documentation
- Act as DPO
- Maintain and operate ISO27001 and ISMS artefacts
- Oversee internal compliance policies whilst supporting customer and vendor compliance activities
- Ensure compliance is trusted by Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Product
- Manage compliance plans and enable business growth
Compliance Manager - Requirements
- 5+ years experience in compliance, information governance and data protection
- GDPR ownership in SaaS or regulated environments
- Experience of ISO27001 audit readiness and maintenance
- Experience working with technology and engineering teams
- Certified Data Protection Officer (DPO)
- Ideal qualifications - ISO27001 Lead Auditor, GDPR practitioner certification
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Energetic and dynamic individual who enjoys collaborating and being pragmatic to enable growth
