About the Company
Our client, a reputable international bank, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join the Singapore Compliance team on a 6-month contract basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AML/CFT monitoring, KYC reviews, and regulatory compliance within the banking industry.

Contract Duration: Immediate - 31 December 2026
Location: Tanjong Pagar
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed and ongoing AML/CFT reviews and risk monitoring of client accounts, transactions, and account activities.
Analyze transactions and investigate unusual or potentially suspicious activities, working closely with front-office stakeholders when clarification is required.
Perform name screening and ensure all related and connected parties are accurately identified and screened against relevant watchlists.
Review and refresh Know Your Customer (KYC) records, ensuring documentation remains valid, complete, and up to date.
Escalate compliance observations, concerns, and potential risks to the AML team in a timely manner, together with recommended remediation actions.
Support the Compliance team with ad hoc tasks, regulatory projects, and operational initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in KYC Periodic Reviews, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), or name screening within a banking environment.
Prior experience in a Private Banking environment will be advantageous.
Good understanding of AML/CFT regulations, compliance controls, and risk management principles.
Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage assigned reviews within stipulated timelines.
Detail-oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
