Compliance Officer

You will oversee compliance and risk management while serving as the risk management officer. You will report compliance risks to the CEO and board, manage required regulatory reports, coordinate responses to inspections and data requests, supervise AML reporting responsibilities, and operate the internal control framework.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance and risk management activities including risk management officer duties
• Report compliance risk issues to the CEO and board regularly and as needed
• Manage all required regular and ad hoc reports to the Financial Services Commission and Financial Supervisory Service
• Coordinate responses and communications for regulatory inspections and data requests
• Manage and supervise the AML reporting officer's responsibilities
• Build and operate the internal control framework

Requirements

• At least 7 years of compliance or legal experience in the finance and virtual asset-related industries
• Mandatory experience reporting to and communicating with supervisory authorities including KoFIU and the Financial Supervisory Service
• Deep expertise in key laws including the Specific Financial Information Act, Virtual Asset User Protection Act, and Personal Information Protection Act
• No disciplinary history at current or former employers
