Summary:

The India-based Compliance Operations Manager will support the management and execution of the Corporate Compliance Program, with responsibility for coordinating, overseeing, and driving key compliance operations activities across the Legal, Privacy and Compliance function. This role will provide operational support for compliance training, including tracking, follow-up, reporting, and related documentation as well as vendor oversight activities, including vendor compliance matters, site audit activities and follow-up monitoring. The role is intended to strengthen execution, documentation, and accountability across the broader Corporate Compliance program and its key operational activities.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide operational support for Corporate Compliance Program activities, including compliance training, vendor oversight, auditing and monitoring, policy governance, compliance documentation, and related activities
  • Support compliance management with training administration, including tracking completion status, preparing follow-up reports, monitoring delinquency trends, maintaining supporting documentation, and coordinating reminders or escalations as needed
  • Manage vendor oversight activities, including scheduling and documenting vendor tiering meetings, maintaining tiering trackers, coordinating site audit logistics, collecting audit evidence and tracking open follow-up items through closure
  • Coordinate client, vendor and third-party audit requests, including oversight of documentation and evidence collection, deadline management, and follow-up on outstanding requests and corrective action items
  • Manage compliance program tracking and reporting, including dashboards, status reports, meeting documentation, and other management tools that provide visibility into compliance activities, priorities, and progress
  • Coordinate with U.S. and India-based stakeholders to support timely information gathering, issue escalation, documentation review, and completion of assigned compliance operations activities
  • Assist with periodic reviews of compliance policies, procedures, and control documents by tracking review cycles, compiling feedback, and maintaining version control and approval documentation
  • Lead the initial preparation of Compliance Committee materials, including drafting meeting agendas, minutes, follow-up trackers, and coordinate review and finalization with Compliance leadership
  • Identify and assess operational gaps, overdue items, documentation deficiencies and process inefficiencies, and drive appropriate escalation, follow-up and resolution in coordination with Compliance leadership
  • Maintain subject matter awareness of applicable compliance processes and internal requirements to support consistent execution of compliance operations activities
  • Take on additional assignments and responsibilities as business needs dictate

Required (Must Have):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (B.A./B.S.) or commensurate work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal operations, privacy, audit, or a related field.
  • Experience managing compliance programs, policies, and internal controls.
  • Strong project management and operational excellence skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience leading compliance investigations, risk assessments, audits, and remediation activities.
  • Ability to partner effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred (Good to Have):

  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, privacy, or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of privacy and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, GDPR, AI governance, and third-party risk management.
  • Experience supporting compliance operations in a global environment.
  • Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms such as OneTrust or similar tools.
