government, legal, insurance and loss assessing.
Due to continual growth with high profile clients, we are
now seeking a Compliance and Test Technician to join the compliance team. The
role will be based in Scoresby and will involve travelling to various locations
across Victoria and at times interstate for testing services.
The
Position...
Reporting to the department General Manager, this role will be responsible for the following:
- Performing slip resistance testing both
on-site and in the laboratory in accordance with relevant standards and
codes.
- Assisting with calibration and maintenance
of all slip testing equipment as directed
- Undertaking other compliance services such
as luminance contrast testing, concrete moisture testing and other
services both on-site and in the laboratory in accordance with relevant
standards and codes.
- Interpreting test results and preparing
reports for clients.
- Developing ongoing working relationships
with client organisations and individuals.
- Adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintaining relevant and current industry
experience through professional development activities, in-house training
and work activities completed.
- Operating cutting and other powered
equipment as required.
- General administration duties including
receipt/despatch.
Training
will be provided by our experienced staff in performing all ATTAR testing
services associated with the role.
The Ideal Candidate…
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- Have completed a minimum Year 12 or
equivalent.
- Be proficient in the use of MS office
software.
- Have a practical, hands-on approach
- Be personable and have well developed
communication skills (both oral and written).
- Be customer service focused – including
being capable of answering clients' technical questions and interacting
with the public.
- Be able to travel locally and interstate to
conduct on-site testing.
- Be positive, have a strong work ethic and
enjoy collaborating with professional peers.
- Experience
producing quality technical reports in a timely manner.
- Have a current driver’s license. An open drivers’ licence
(manual) is preferred but not essential.
- Must have Australian working rights.
