Occupation Summary:

Composite technician is a skilled individual who specializes in the manufacturing and repair of composite materials. Composite Technicians are responsible for the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of composite materials, such as fiberglass, carbon fibre and other materials. Ensure the quality and accuracy of finished products. A Composite Technician must have a strong understanding of composite materials, fabrication processes, and safety regulations.

Key Duties and Tasks:

Assemble, fabricate, and repair products from composite parts and materials. Inspect components to ensure they meet specifications. Finish products and ensure high-quality standards are met. Expertise working with epoxy, resins and other matrix materials. Ability using cutting, trimming, sanding, drilling, and finishing tools.

Required Education:

Diploma

Required Skills:

Select appropriate consumables required to ensure satisfactory progress and completion of projects, Identify and select materials, Design and manufacture components. Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 2 years
