Recruitment will continue through the announcement closing date until the position is filled. *** SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The purpose of the Composite Fabricator Helper is to assist a higher-graded Composite Fabricator to accomplish inspection, repair, modification, removal, installation, troubleshooting, and data documentation of Low Observable (LO) systems and structures. Incumbent receives on-the-job experience and training to advance to the next higher developmental PD: D2502000, WG-4352-07 before progression to the full performance level of PD: D2503000, WG-4352-10. Assists higher graded Composite Fabricators in performing repair and maintenance of LO coatings and structural systems. Assists higher graded Composite Fabricators in performing repair and maintenance of composite, advanced composites, metal and thermoplastic aircraft structures. Assists higher graded Composite Fabricators in performing repair, application, and maintenance of corrosion preventatives and paints on aircraft, powered, and non-powered AGE. Performs other duties as assigned.
