The Process Engineer supports composite manufacturing operations at the Batesville, MS facility, with responsibility for engineering activities associated with manufacturing processes. Roles and Responsibilities
- Support daily manufacturing operations in a composites production environment
- Lead technical problem solving and RCCA to drive permanent corrective actions
- Optimize conventional and non-conventional machining processes for quality, throughput, and repeatability
- Improve tooling, fixturing, process flow, work instructions, and process controls
- Partner with operations, quality, tooling, and engineering teams to improve producibility and readiness
- Support qualification, validation, PFMEA, and production ramp activities
- Coach team members and provide technical leadership across the organization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing/process engineering experience)
- Minimum of 3 years manufacturing / process engineering experience
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience in composites manufacturing is a plus
- Strong background in conventional and non-conventional machining is preferred
- Demonstrated advanced problem-solving and RCCA leadership
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive measurable manufacturing improvements
