We at Futureworks are looking for self-motivated talented individuals to help us push creative and technical boundaries to deliver best quality to our esteem clients. As a VFX compositors you are expected to seamlessly integrate CG assets, matte paintings, and live-action footage to make a single moving image/shot. You must have the expertise to match each layer in terms of light and shadow, color and grading, perspective, and depth, while also ensuring each shot maintains continuity within its sequence.

• Compositing: Strong ability in all aspects of compositing in Nuke, integrating 2D, 3D and live-action elements to a high-end visual effects standard​. Combining different layers of visual elements to create a final shot.

• Matching and Integrating: Ensuring that layers (CG, live-action, etc.) match in terms of light, shadow, color, perspective, and depth.

• Relighting and Chroma Keying: Adjusting lighting and extracting specific elements (like a green screen background) from footage.

• Collaboration: Working with VFX supervisors, editors, and other artists to achieve project goals.

• Quality Control: Ensuring that the final shots meet quality standards and are consistent with the overall project vision.

• Problem Solving: Addressing technical challenges and finding creative solutions for compositing issues.

• Workflow Management: Organizing and managing assets and files throughout the project lifecycle.

Desirable Skills

• Minimum 4+ years of VFX compositing experience

• Working knowledge of the overall VFX Pipeline​

• Experience using ShotGrid​

• Knowledge about practical lighting and photography​

• Strong eye for detail, composition, understanding of​ color and lighting​

• Able to understand and apply shot notes​

• Strong communication, organisation, interpersonal skills​

• A pro-active, collaborative and team-oriented​work ethic​

• Ability to multitask, prioritise and problem solve​

• Experience using Linux

• Ability to take direction positively, work well within a team, and thrives under the pressure.

  Note:

  This is a contract position, subject to renewal based on business requirements.

  Candidate will be required to work from office.
