As the Compounding Supervisor you support the Compounding Manager in planning, organizing, directing and controlling all functions within the Compounding Department related to the manufacturing of bulk products in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures and work instructions.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Leads, assigns, and manages the activities of the Compounding Department to ensure optimal results in safety, quality and productivity and cost.
Trains, coaches and develop employees within the department to ensure performance expectations and department objectives are met according to established standards; manages performance expectations and delivers feedback.
Reviews, identifies and resolved errors/discrepancies within SAP and the Manufacturing Instruction Packets.
Interacts with other departments in coordinating the compounding schedules and related activities.
Conducts investigations on batching issues, incidents and deviations to assure that root causes are identified and appropriate corrective actions are taken/implemented.
Performs all work in a manner that is consistent with the company’s quality system and FDA good manufacturing practices, includes always maintaining a clean and orderly area.
Follows, promotes and enforces KDC’s safety and environmental policies, practices ad procedures.
Assists the safety department and safety committee with investigations and corrective actions related to safety hazards/incidents.
Exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of the normal schedule as needed due to workplace demands (e.g. supporting off-shifts). Performs other related duties as required.

What You Need:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related technical field is required. In lieu of degree a minimum of 3 years previous experience in a Compounding role is required.
Minimum of 3 years previous supervisory experience.
Knowledge of: FDA Good Manufacturing Practices and OSHA Safety Requirements; Microsoft office suite and SAP.
