(1) A man-lock attendant shall be inattendance at a man-lock in the worksite at all times when any person is in theman-lock or in a working chamber to which the man-lock affords direct orindirect access.(2) Each man-lock attendant station in a worksite shall beprovided with a first-aid box.(3) It shall be the duty of the man-lockattendant at the worksite where work in a compressed air environment is carriedout to —(a)maintain a lock attendant’s register; and(b)carry outthe compression and decompression of persons in a compressed air environment inaccordance with the approved procedures.
