COMPUTER ASSISTANT

The primary purpose of this position is to provide point of contact for LRS computer operations including remote processing station, Local Area Network, and personal computer systems. Administers organizational information management processes.

Administers and maintains information systems hardware in compliance with Air Force directives. Recommends, installs, and maintains system software. Assists the network security officer with implementing security plans, procedures, and training to comply with Wing, Air Force, and Department of War standards Provides ongoing technical advice, guidance, and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software.
