About the role
PT Samick Indonesia is seeking a talented Computer Science / AI Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis in Cileungsi, West Java. This is a pivotal position within our electrical and electronic engineering operations, where you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions and digital transformation projects within our company.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI and software solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for automation.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and IT teams.
- Support AI vision systems, databases, and system integration.
- Maintain and improve existing software applications.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Software Development, or Automation.
- Proficiency in Python, PHP, Flutter, Java-Script or other programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Korean will be an advantage and is highly preferred.
