Principal Computer Vision Scientist
Our partner, a global supply chain technology company, is looking for a Principal Computer Vision Scientist to play a key role in building its new international Engineering Hub and shaping the company's Computer Vision and AI capabilities.
This is a senior Individual Contributor (IC) position offering the opportunity to influence technical direction while transforming cutting-edge research into production-ready AI solutions that create real business value- PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Solid experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
- Hands-on knowledge of OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn.
- Deep understanding of modern Computer Vision architectures such as YOLO, Vision Transformers, Mask R-CNN, CLIP, SAM, or similar models.
- Proven experience delivering Machine Learning models into production environments.
- Experience with Docker, REST APIs, CI/CD, and MLOps practices.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Publications, patents, or a strong applied research background in Computer Vision or AI.
- Experience defining technical direction for AI/ML projects.
- Knowledge of edge AI or mobile inference technologies (ONNX, TensorRT, OpenVINO, TFLite, etc.).
- Experience with multimodal or vision-language models.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and cloud-based ML platforms.
- Experience working in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, electronics, or e-commerce environments.
