A busy and growing dental practice in the Everett, Massachusetts area is seeking a dependable, motivated, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled dental professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment dedicated to providing outstanding patient care.
We are looking for someone who is organized, professional, and able to help create a comfortable and positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and process dental radiographs
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and patient records
- Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Support infection control and OSHA compliance protocols
- Assist with scheduling coordination and clinical flow as needed
- Manage inventory and operatory supplies
Qualifications
- Prior dental assisting experience preferred
- Current Massachusetts dental assisting certifications/licenses as required
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and sterilization protocols
- Experience with digital X-rays and dental software preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced office
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
