What You’ll Be Part Of
You will lead and own business architecture design, process development, and system development from a Change and Configuration Management perspective, in a specific business domain connected to our central PLM Environment.
Your Domain focus area is Development and Design, fundamentally how Engineering executes their work within and connected to the central, global PLM cradle-to-grave (end-to-end). The scope consists of Mechanical design (ex., MCAD), Electrical design (ex., ECAD), Mechanical & Electrical collaboration (MCAD + ECAD), Simulation Data Management, and Variant Management at the product and Discipline level. The domain will be highly engaged with other experts within Engineering and various departments to build processes and systems at a fundamental level, that effectively and efficiently speed up development, improve quality, and meet broader organizational needs.
For example, you will immediately jump into leading from Configuration Management a Mechanical CAD migration and process setup in our Teamcenter PLM, including procedures for ECAD & MCAD Collaboration of designs.
Configuration Management means the process of building an enterprise with Clear, Concise, and Valid information that is changed, Integrated, and managed throughout the Product Lifecycle, achieving process excellence.
You will work with members of your team (ex., System Engineers, other domain leads), our Digital IT Group, and with functional areas of the business (ex., Engineering, Program Management), to architect, build, test, launch, and own solutions from a CM perspective (Data & Change) to achieve operational excellence.
You will learn the system capabilities, so you can work closely with our team and Digital IT teams to solve complex process and system issues, enabling successful design, deployment, and integration in the Configuration Management Systems with related enterprise system enablers (PLM, ERP, MES, ALM).
Portfolio of Technology enablers includes Enterprise Systems (ex., Siemens Teamcenter, Opcenter), Low-Code Development (ex., Mendix), Analytics (ex., Qlik), and Various Database/Data Structure frameworks (ex, Snowflake, Databricks)
This role will function at a highly collaborative, leadership, Business Process Design & Architecture level to lead transformation in the business operations.
