Confined Space Rescuer

Perform emergency confined-space rescues, maintain rescue gear, and stand by during hazardous entry operations in industrial settings like shipyards or power plants.
Job Description
- Serve as part of the emergency rescue team during confined space operations.
- Perform rescue operations in accordance with emergency response procedures.
- Inspect and maintain rescue equipment such as tripod, winch, SCBA, rescue stretcher, and lifelines.
- Stand by throughout confined space entry operations.
- Participate in rescue drills and emergency exercises.
- Assist in casualty evacuation and provide basic first aid where required.
- Ensure rescue equipment is always ready for immediate deployment.
Requirements
- Possess valid Confined Space Rescue or Confined Space Entry & Rescue certification.
- Physically fit and medically suitable for confined space rescue work.
- Knowledge of rescue techniques, emergency response, and first aid.
- Familiar with SCBA and rescue equipment.
- Able to remain calm under emergency situations.
- Willing to work shifts, overtime, and emergency call-outs.
Preferred Additional Qualifications (for all positions)
- Work at Height (WAH) certification.
- First Aid / CPR + AED certification.
- Fire Fighting or Emergency Response Team (ERT) experience.
- Experience in petrochemical, marine, shipyard, power plant, wastewater treatment, or construction industries.
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Valid Class 3 driving licence is an added advantage.
